AFOPA presents guest lecturer for 2024, Samah Sabawi. Samah is an author, playwright and poet and a recipient of multiple awards both nationally and internationally. Her debut novel Cactus Pear for my Beloved, has just been released.
Samah is coming to the Waurn Ponds Hotel to share the story of her parents and many like them who were born as their parents were being forced to leave their homelands.
